A short introduction to
The Norwegian Dermatological Society (NDS)

The Norwegian Dermatological Society is the professional association for Norwegian dermatovenerologists. The Society was founded in 1915 in Oslo, and today organises about 175 doctors, either specialists in dermatovenerology, or doctors undergoing specialist training at University Departments of Dermatovenerology. Some doctors from other fields of medicine can be assigned as associated members. The NDS is organized under the Norwegian Medical Association.

The Society organises an Annual Meeting each spring. The annual meeting also comprises the General Assembly and a large dermatological congress meeting where NDS members and other invited speakers present scientific news from the whole spectrum of our speciality.

The NDS homepage is primarily designed for our members, who can use this site as an entry to the Internet, and to keep themselves updated on what is going on in the Society. We intend to expand the scope of the homepage to become an Intranet for professional communication in the future.
