Avoid investigations such as imaging, blood tests, endoscopies, etc., to detect early asymptomatic recurrence after curative cancer treatment unless such follow-ups have a proven impact on prognosis or quality of life

31. JULI 2025

Rationale:

In some cases, early identification of cancer recurrence after curative treatment may increase the likelihood of further curative treatment. In other cases, early detection will not improve the chances of life-prolonging or curative treatment.
