Conduct advance care planning with shared decision-making, particularly in patients for whom hematological treatment has uncertain or limited expected benefit, where there is a risk of adverse effects and complications, in patients with comorbid conditions, or those in the end-of-life phase

9. JUNI 2026

Rationale:

Early clarification of goals and expectations together with the patient—and, where appropriate, their relatives—supports more patient-centered care pathways, in which the patient’s needs, values, and preferences are incorporated into the decision-making process.
