Restraint performing bone marrow examinations in (elderly) patients living with mild to severe frailty (CFS 5–9) when a potential hematological diagnosis would not alter treatment or follow-up

9. JUNI 2026

Rationale:

The procedure may be painful and burdensome for the patient and should therefore only be performed when the result is likely to influence treatment decisions. In addition, sample collection requires personnel and equipment, and analysis of the specimen is time- and resource-intensive.
