Dear Colleagues, On behalf of the IFCN Elections Committee, I am reporting to you the results of the recent ballot voting for President, Treasurer and Secretary.
President: 57 out of 61 member societies were eligible to vote based on the dues payment status, and 42 out of those 57 societies (74%) have voted within the deadline, so this election is valid (more than 50%) according to the IFCN Statutes (Article 6.6-a-iv). Walter Paulus has been elected for the position of the IFCN President for the next Fiscal Period (2018-2022).
Treasurer: 57 out of 61 member societies were eligible to vote based on the dues payment status, and 43 out of those 57 societies (75%) have voted within the deadline, so this election is valid (more than 50%) according to the IFCN Statutes (Article 6.6-a-iv). Aatif Husain has been elected for the position of the IFCN Treasurer for the next Fiscal Period (2018-2022).
Secretary: 56 out of 61 member societies were eligible to vote based on the dues payment status, and 36 out of those 56 societies (64%) have voted within the deadline, so this election is valid (more than 50%) according to the IFCN Statutes (Article 6.6-a-iv). Renato Verdugo has been elected for the position of the IFCN Secretary for the next Fiscal Period (2018-2022).
