At present, there are over 1000 vacant jobs as consultant radiologists in the UK. Therefore, the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) has created a “Global Fellowship” scheme. This scheme enables trained (FRCR-holding) radiologists from over the world to come to the UK
for three years to work, on an “earn, learn, return” basis and thus gain more experience in a radiological subspecialty.
To work as a doctor you must be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC), see https://www.rcr.ac.uk/
Those interested and want to experience a different way of working can contact Dr. Strickland directly; president@rcr.ac.uk.
