Ivo Pereira is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Informatics Department at ISEP and an integrated member of INESCTEC's HumanISE R&D Center. He has participated in more than seven R&D projects and was the principal investigator of the PHYNHANCAI project. He has published more than 65 scientific papers in international conference proceedings, journals, and book chapters.
He has worked with companies for several years, with particulat reference to his role as Director of the Research and Innovation Department at E-goi. He has managed and developed several Artifical Intelligence, Data Science and Machine Learning projects and products.
His main research interests include Artifical Intelligence, Machine Learning, Decision Support Systems, Predictive Modelling, Combinational Optimization, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, Multimodal AI, among others.
Ana Maria Madureira holds the position of Coordinator Professor with Habilitation at the Institute of Engineering, Plytechnic of Porto (ISEP/IPP), where she also serves as the Director of the Interdisciplinary Studies Research Center (ISRC).
Since 2020, she has been a PhD Researcher collaborator at INOV. Additionaly, she is an External Member of the Evaluation Committee for the Agency for Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education (A3ES), specifically for the scientific domain of Informatics within Polytechnic Higher Education, a role she has held since 2012. Professor Madureira has contributed to the academic commynity through the publication of over 100 research papers in international journals and has actively participated in numerous internation conferences. Her reasearch endeavors extend to projects related to computer science and healthcare, as well as various industrial initiatives. Her primary reserch interests encompass artifical intelligence, machine learning and data science.
