The SSSD has traditionally had a strong focus on basic and translational diabetes research but for the upcoming meeting we would also like to strengthen the clinical programme, particularly regarding recent advances in the treatment of type 2 diabetes and obesity.
We are currently accepting abstracts and particularly encourage PhD students to submit an abstract for an oral presentation.
