Dear Colleagues,

The preparations for the 32nd International Congress of Clinical Neurophysiology (ICCN 2022) are advancing well. We are optimistic that we will be able to have an on-site meeting, although the next Covid wave is just approaching in Europe. The spacious Palexpo meeting facilities in Geneva have allowed us to integrate a further meeting of the Brain Stimulation SIG, the last one having taken place virtually in Baden-Baden a year ago. The lectures from that meeting are still available in the Presentation Database on our website. These meetings have a long tradition, with the first having taken place in Göttingen in 1998. The submission portal for this added meeting, which will run concurrent with the ICCN, is open until November 30 .

Education remains one of IFCN’s primary strategic goals. The IFCN continues to boost education in CN, with the next Masterclass on Saturday, November 13 featuring the esteemed Professor Jun Kimura on the Clinical Use of F-Wave Measures. I also encourage everyone to take our brief, 3-question survey on Masterclass by IFCN before November 15. The IFCN ExCo and Education Committee are eager to hear your suggestions for future education offerings by IFCN.

We are looking for scientists interested in fostering Internet-based blended learning material. In case you are interested or have ideas, just send me an email

Warm Regards,
Walter Paulus
IFCN President
